Theres a New Shirt In Town . . .

So you all own chambray shirt right? No? You shock me! I live in mine. Honestly, I might have worn this shirt three days in a row this week and my other yesterday.

So, the chambray! I think that these shirts are great as you can dress them up with a smart skirt for work, tied over maxi skirts, worn lose with stripes and jeans thrown on over dresses, under dresses. I can’t preach how much I love these shirts cause I just love them too much!

This week, i’ve worn this one above, with jeans on Sunday, under my black dress ala’ Kendi on Tuesday and yesterday I wore my pale blue one thrown on over my dress that I wore to two of our best friends wedding yesterday.

In fact for someone who had been dancing and celebrating all day I thought I did pretty well last night when I threw my shirt on over my dress with a pair of fuggs* to go get midnight fast food.

So many choices, so little time! What are your favourite items of clothing to remix at the moment?

(*Fuggs, fake Uggs! don’t pretend you don’t own a pair too!)

Its like Nashville

Jacket: Zara, Dress H&M, Sunglasses H&M, Boots: New Look, Scarf: White Stuff,

I love these boots, every time I wear them I feel slightly like a country singer or Taylor Swift (Im not sure if she really qualifies as country anymore? but I could be wrong). Unfortunately they are also on there way out which somewhat upsets me it also means that next autumn I get to look into new ones, so there are some upsides!
Also this dress cost me £13, bargain right?

Also we hung out in Rochester this last sunday, I love Rochester! and dark hot chocolate with marshmallows! You cannot go wrong!

Southeastern Tales . . .

My workplace are very used to my southeastern tales. Because I spend (on a good week) about 20 hours a week on travelling to work alone its inevitable that I will end up getting some great stories out of what happens on these journeys.

For instance, the women that didn't just faint, but fainted one step onto the train. The women who ran to catch the train who put her empty buggy on and then ran back to the car park for the baby and the child.  But thursday night was the best one. We were stuck at Borough Green and Wrothem to be exact. we all groaned at the overhead voice, waiting to hear the dreaded, signal failure to instead hear about a passenger being taken ill. My first thought? "What is it about West Malling Station?"

We barely waited in the grand scheme of things to when the whistle was blown and the voice came back overhead. "Good evening ladies and gentlemen, we apologise for the wait. We have just heard that the Ambulance is now on scene and a young woman has just given birth to a baby girl."

Needless to say everyone in my carriage sort of turned to each other at the same time, staring like, 'what just happened?' crazy journey indeed . . .

Sunnier Times . . .

This was only last week. Quite frankly I can't get used to the weather these days. Last week when we took these it was warm and sunny. I had even started looking at summer clothes options. I was looking at summer food choice started upping my exercise and then snow happened, again and I got a cold.

So this weekend we didn't take any more photos we just stayed in our pj's all weekend, it was quite honestly lovely. However, now i'd like the summer back again so heres hoping next week will be all sunshine and warm weather again!

but until there, here are some warmish looking photos! and onto next week and hopefully no more colds!

I Should've Worn Pink . . .

Its that day again, the day all singletons hate and all couples like to exchange gifts on and tell each other how much they love each other. For me? Valentines has been and gone folks! It was last saturday, didn’t you know? But again, I didn’t wear pink, what was I thinking?
I mean obviously a romantic get a way and fancy turkish food isn’t romantic enough without a romantic outfit right? Wrong, ill tell you, my mainly green inspired weekends were pretty romantic even without some hearts. But now? All I can think about is pink outfits, so maybe next week?
Bet you didn’t see that coming, now where to buy an entire outfit covered in hearts? Mmmm, maybe not then.

Mind the gate on your way . . .

Today started just a little bit strangely. For one I wasn't directly mad at the snow (which never happens, I almost never have feelings other than hate for snow.) But the other thing happened when we were walking into the park. Now firstly theres an LA gym on front of the park so they have barriers into the car park/ park.

Anyway a girl strides in front of us, neither of us are particularly paying attention until there is a loud resounding clang like metal on metal. I look up and the girl who was previously striding past us is now clutching at her forehead. The girl managed to walk into the barrier.

It's something you don't (thankfully) see everyday - so that at least gives me a reason to explain to people as to why I hate snow. It really is dangerous! thankfully she's ok,
but seriously peeps snow is a danger!

Jess.
